When designing the hydraulic system, we must ensure the
possibility of flow regardless of the position of the zone valve
in the event of a power outage. Therefore, in systems with a buffer connected in series or without it, we can ensure heat extraction, for example, from short underfloor heating loops controlled by a valve actuator, or create a bypass to the DHW tank with a normally open solenoid valve, which will open after a power failure.
